Kleencut Solutions is an Australian owned and operated metalwork fabricator. We specialise in supplying aluminium facade elements, solar screening and architectural metalwork to the commercial construction industry.
We play a crucial role in helping Australia’s building industry meet its sustainability targets, and that’s a responsibility we take seriously.

Our History
Tom & Ben founded Kleencut Solutions in 2012 to supply high-quality architectural metalwork, The team worked primarily in the residential space, where we crafted facades, screening, louvres, battens, gates and balustrades and much more.
While the business has grown, we’ve retained our commitment to honest work and fantastic customer service although we’ve transitioned into primarily work within the tier 2 commercial space, specialising in schools, collages, government builds and much more.
We take great pride in producing some of the industry’s best products, and that is displayed in each project we complete.

Tom Burnie
Our director, Tom Burnie is a dedicated family man at heart from humble beginnings on the Sunshine Coast, he and one of his closest friends, Ben, started Kleencut Solutions together after brainstorming ideas for a niche product to sell on a surf trip to Bali together back in 2012, Tom comes from a sales and customer service focused background and Ben from within the Construction industry, this combination has been the perfect ingredients for a successful endeavour within the manufacturing World. Tom has successfully grown the company to over 35 loyal amazing employees and has become one of the leading architectural metalwork companies in Australia.
Ben Sutcliffe
Ben has extensive knowledge within the building industry, holding both a QBCC Builders License – Open and a Contractors License in NSW. His Academic Qualifications include diplomas in Program Management, and Building & Construction.
Drawing on his vast experience and together with his team of 25 staff collectively throughout both states, Ben has successfully delivered both Residential and Commercial Projects over and above the expectations of clients.
Carly Harry
Carly truly is the backbone of our team! Her ability to keep everything in perfect order ensures that our office runs smoothly. From managing accounts to orchestrating daily operations, she handles it all with grace. Plus, she even wrangles our three office dogs, making sure they stay in line. We couldn’t do it without her!
Brian Wares
Brian is a qualified carpenter and installer with over 25 years’ experience throughout the UK, New Zealand and Australia. He has supervised and trained large teams and for the past 15 years has worked in various locations around Australia, specialising in aluminium shutters, louvres and facades on both domestic and commercial projects. He joined our team as a Project Manager in 2021. Brian prides himself on his quality workmanship, and he is committed to providing quality results and an outstanding finished product on all his projects.
Jason Leslie
For 37 years, Jason has dedicated his career to the building construction sector, showcasing his skills in various roles and projects. Starting in the New Zealand Army, he learnt his carpentry skills, developing a strong work ethic focused on delivering top-quality results within a team environment. Transitioning to the building construction industry, Jason began as a carpenter, later progressing to high-quality metalwork finishing and project management in the last 15 years. His professional journey has taken him across three countries, working on diverse projects such as constructing weather stations in Antarctica to working on mansions in Greater London. Jason became a part of our team in 2021.
Bernd Grevesmuhl
Bernd began his career by fabricating aluminium marine windows for boats. Since then, he has handled the manufacturing, installation, and project management of various aluminium products, ranging from security screen doors to facades. For the last 15 years, he has focused on project management and installation of shutters, louvres, and facade shading systems, operating in Australia and the Pacific Islands. In 2023, he joined Kleencut Solutions to meet the increasing demand from our customers. Bernd’s extensive expertise and keen eye for detail ensure that each project he takes on is executed with precision.
Beau Stanborough
Beau has been in the industry for almost a decade. With a background in Industrial Design, Beau has a broad knowledge of design principles and a good eye for current trends in the industry. He has helped build the company’s business and been an integral part of developing the back of house procedures. He oversees the day-to- day operations and works closely with the team to ensure projects run smoothly and on time.
Rob Luiafoa
Rob has an extensive hands-on experience in metal fabrication, welding, and project management. He is an accomplished workshop manager with over 17 years of experience in the metalwork fabrication industry. Joining Kleencut in 2017, Rob manages our diverse team of trade-qualified boiler makers and sheet metal workers, overseeing all workshop operations, and ensuring high standards of craftsmanship.
